Enjoying a sweet treat at a food truck pop-up!

Being part of a cooperative preschool is more than an education for your child; it's also joining a community and forming friendships. We have fun both within and outside the classroom. Events change yearly but have included:

Field Trips & Special Visitors
Learning occurs both in and outside of the classroom. Past field trips have included visits to Oxbow Farm, pumpkin patches, Seattle Aquarium, local beaches, Denny's Pet World, Storybook Theater and more. Field trips vary year-to-year and class-to-class, but are always fun! We've also been lucky to have visits from Bothell Fire Department and Bothell Police Department. During online learning, our imaginative teachers have included opportunities for learning through activities such as a "Gingerbread man hunt"!

Social events
Whether it's adults-only at events such as our annual auction or the whole family grabbing something to eat at a socially-distanced food truck pop-up, families have the opportunity to get together outside of school. Other events have included our annual PJS & Puppets event, where students are treated to an evening puppet show by a local puppeteer, decorating pumpkins and singing fall songs, themed Zoom events/ Zoom lunches, car parades, and our annual all-school picnic to celebrate another successful school year!

Community Outreach
NCP believes in helping our neighbors. The NCP community has helped with numerous community outreach projects, such as food drives to support "Families Supporting Families" pantries through Northshore School District; collecting items for Ryther Foundation; and collecting donations to support Treehouse.
