Our Butterflies, or 4-5's class, continues to nurture your child's growth and independence. This class is also referred to as a pre-kindergarten class, or Pre-K. Play-based learning continues to be our focus to foster your child's love of learning. Your child's learning is supported during both free choice activities where the child can select his/her own activity, as well as small group instruction. A variety of free choice activities are offered during class time. This may include sensory activities, fine or gross motor activities, and STEM activities. This class meets three times a week, and caregivers are required to attend one day per week with their child. On the other two days, the child may attend independently or the parent may stay and participate.  A once monthly evening parent education component is required.
