Our Teachers
Pre-K and 1-2 Class Teacher - Cam Harrel has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on behavior disorders. Before teaching at NCP, she taught both regular and special education in elementary and middle schools for 10 years. Teacher Cam loves to come to work each day and interact with her kids and parents. She works hard to ensure her class learns the skills and behaviors for a successful transition to kindergarten. Teacher Cam enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Donny, and two kids, Easton and Brooklyn.

3-4 Class Teacher - Kari Moore has been involved in cooperative education for a number of years as a parent and board member at NCP, a teacher with Lake Washington Toddler Group and now as the 3-4’s teacher at NCP. She previously taught the 1-2's class as well. Kari joins us with over 15 years of teaching early elementary education. Additionally, her experience and great enthusiasm for preschoolers stems from being involved and facilitating PEPS, participating in Evergreen Mom/Baby group and many more local toddler/child programs. Kari has a Psychology Degree, Certification in Elementary Education from Gonzaga University, and earned her Masters in Teaching in 2007. Being a Seattle native, Kari enjoys spending time outdoors with her twins Ella and Will, her husband Chuck, and their dog, Crosby.

2-3 Class and Family Class Teacher - Missy Cornwell has experience teaching PreK, 2-3, as well as mixed age preschool groups. She received her Bachelors degree in Business administration from University of Washington and worked in the tech industry for several years, but made a change several years ago to pursue her passion for education. In addition to teaching at NCP, Missy is a teacher at Heartwood Nature Programs, as well as a Roots of Empathy Instructor. Missy grew up locally in Lake Forest Park and was a student in Lake Forest Park Co-op Preschool. With experience as an NCP alumni as a parent and board member, she is at home in the co-op environment. Missy is passionate about the importance of relationships in the early parenting years and encourages curiosity in learning. She is the mother to two wonderful children (Evie and Owen) and wife to Jeff (her high school sweetheart). When not at school, you can usually find her hiking, golfing, on the soccer field sidelines or a baseball/softball diamond with a camera in hand. She loves that she is once again able to be a part of Northshore Cooperative Preschool and its amazing community.
